“Η χώρα είναι μη διακυβερνήσιμη και αυτό πιστοποιείται και από τον μεσοπρόθεσμο δημοσιονομικό προγραμματισμό που ενέκρινε το Υπουργικό Συμβούλιο, διότι δεν επιτρέπει στη χώρα να νιώθει ασφαλής και βιώσιμη εντός των σημερινών συνθηκών και της πρόγνωσης της παγκόσμιας που κάνουν όλοι δια γυμνού οφθαλμού, η χώρα υπνοβατεί”, επισήμανε ο πρώην αντιπρόεδρος της κυβέρνησης, Ευάγγελος Βενιζέλος, κατά την ομιλία του στην εκδήλωση για την παρουσίαση του βιβλίου του πρώην υπουργού του ΠΑΣΟΚ, Τάσου Γιαννίτση, με τίτλο “ΕΛΛΑΔΑ 1953-2024 Χρόνος και Πολιτική Οικονομία”.
Ο κ. Βενιζέλος αναφέρθηκε στο χθεσινό Υπουργικό Συμβούλιο, το οποίο συζήτησε και ενέκρινε τον πολυετή δημοσιονομικό προγραμματισμό της χώρας για τα έτη 2026-2029, που, όπως είπε, υπερβαίνει τον εκλογικό ορίζοντα και σημείωσε: “Η χώρα καλείται να βαδίσει εντός ενός πλαισίου όπου θα έχουμε κάθε χρόνο μικρότερο αριθμό αύξησης του ΑΕΠ. Ελαφρώς μειούμενη θα είναι η ιδιωτική κατανάλωση.

“Τι κάνουμε τώρα, που πάμε;” αναρωτήθηκε και τόνισε: “Είχα πει ότι η χώρα είναι μή διακυβερνήσιμη, όχι γιατί δεν έχει κυβέρνηση, κυβέρνηση έχει τη συνταγματική και με επαρκή κοινοβουλευτική πλειοψηφία. Οι δημοσκοπήσεις δεν προοιωνίζονται μια εύκολη λύση μετά τις πρώτες εκλογές ή τις δεύτερες. Δεν ξέρω τι θα γίνει όποτε γίνουν οι εκλογές. Αν το έθνος μπορεί να αναπτύξει τις θεμελιώδεις συναινέσεις που απαιτούνται για τη διαχείριση της εξωτερικής πολιτικής και της πολιτικής ασφάλειας”.
