Χωρίς ηλεκτροδότηση παρέμεινε για περίπου δέκα ώρες το χωριό “Μαυρέλι” του Δήμου Μετεώρων στα Τρίκαλα, την Παρασκευή 30 Αυγούστου.
Στην περιοχή, λόγω του ανέμου, έσπασαν 5 στύλοι της ηλεκτροδότησης και η περιοχή που είναι η γραμμή από Σπαθάδες, Άγιος Νικόλαος μέχρι “Μαυρέλι” έμεινε χωρίς ρεύμα.

Η διακοπή ρεύματος ξεκίνησε τις απογευματινές ώρες της Παρασκευής 30 Αυγούστου, προκαλώντας σημαντική ταλαιπωρία στους κατοίκους, καθώς έμειναν χωρίς φως και βασικές ηλεκτρικές συσκευές σε πλήρη αδράνεια.
Συνεργείο της ΔΕΗ ,έσπευσε στο σημείο άμεσα και εργάστηκε με ζήλο μέχρι αργά το βράδυ για την αποκατάσταση της βλάβης. Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, η βλάβη προκλήθηκε από τεχνικό πρόβλημα στο δίκτυο μετά απο πτώση κολώνων της ΔΕΗ απο έκτακτα έντονα καιρικά φαινόμενα που προκλήθηκαν στην περιοχή .
Η ηλεκτροδότηση αποκαταστάθηκε τις πρώτες πρωινές ώρες του Σαββάτου, επαναφέροντας την ομαλότητα στο χωριό του “Μαυρελίου”και την γύρω περιοχή .
Οι κάτοικοι, αν και ταλαιπωρήθηκαν αρκετά, εξέφρασαν την ανακούφισή τους για την άμεση κινητοποίηση του συνεργείου της ΔΕΗ και την τελική αποκατάσταση της βλάβης.
